ONE Restructures AD1 Service to Enhance Connectivity Between the Adriatic and Eastern Mediterranean

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has unveiled plans to restructure its Adriatic 1 (AD1) service, aiming to enhance schedule reliability and optimize transit times on trade routes linking the Adriatic Sea region with the Eastern Mediterranean.

Streamlined Port Rotation to Improve Operational Efficiency

According to ONE, the latest adjustment focuses on simplifying the AD1 service rotation by removing calls at Aliaga, Türkiye, and Piraeus, Greece.

The move is expected to improve operational efficiency, enhance schedule adherence, and provide customers in the region with a more reliable and consistent service.

Following the revision, the new AD1 port rotation will be: Koper – Venice – Ancona – Damietta – Koper

The current rotation is: Koper – Venice – Ancona – Aliaga – Piraeus – Damietta – Koper

New Service Structure to Take Effect in July 2026

The revised service configuration will be implemented starting with the Mito 065E voyage, which is scheduled to call at Koper on 2 July 2026.

ONE stated that the streamlined AD1 rotation will help reduce transit times on selected trade lanes while improving operational efficiency and schedule stability, at a time when carriers are increasingly focused on service quality and supply chain predictability.

Delivering Greater Reliability for Customers

Through this network adjustment, ONE aims to provide a more dependable transportation solution for shippers and import-export businesses moving cargo between the Adriatic region and the Eastern Mediterranean.

By reducing the number of port calls, the carrier expects to minimize the risk of voyage delays while further strengthening the connectivity and overall performance of its regional service network.
