Maersk and JinkoSolar will jointly conduct multi-dimensional cooperation based on existing package transportation service agreements and explore in-depth cooperation in digital logistics services to provide customers with a wide range of comprehensive logistics solutions and create a green logistics ecosystem.

JinkoSolar already has cooperation agreements with two of the world's four largest container shipping lines, as the deal with Maersk follows a partnership agreement between COSCO and JinkoSolar, announced in June.

Maersk and JinkoSolar have been partners since 2017, according to JinkoSolar CEO Kangping Chen, who said the goal of expanding the partnership is to develop flexible and convenient solutions for managing container shortages now due to the pandemic and the improvement of transport efficiency.

“We expect the increase in shipping capacity to strongly support our global freight growth over the next few years,” commented Chen, adding, “We believe we will be able to share more timely information and provide long-term high-quality logistics service solutions to our global customers."
